So summer is finally over... and in a few hours i'll be attending the first day of a dreadful school year once again. But I am so fuckin happy this summer is over. Although my summer had its brightsides, I would have to agree with the phrase spoken and toasted to many times, that this was indeed the "summer of no love". From breakups, debts, jobs, school, totaled cars and alot of partying, there's nothing I can show for my summer except for alot of memories and life lessons. I suppose every summer can't be amazing and care free, but this summer was definitly a huge learning experience on life and growing up as an adult, rather than a kick back summer i'm so used to (although I have done my share of kicking back this summer). As we all get older and more responsibilities come our way, life can seem bitterly harsh. And if there's one thing i've learned in the past 3 months... is to just.. do you. Don't be afraid of change, because change can be a blessing sometimes even tho it may not seem like it at first. Just continue to be yourself, don't stop your life because of one bump in the road, and do what you gotta do, cuz life is gonna keep moving whether your ready to accept the changes or not. I wish I learned my lesson's earlier in life but I guess better now than never.
